The Twin Rivers 4x4 Club was formed in June 2004 by four-wheel drive enthusiasts wanting a club in their local area - Beenleigh and Logan, South East Queensland. • Family-orientated club • All age groups welcome • Weekend camping trips • Day trips • Easy & scenic to challenging trips • Monthly meetings Are you looking to join a 4WD Club? Do you drive a 4WD and want to use it for what it was designed for? Do you wish to learn different techniques involved in driving off-road? Do you enjoy exploring the country and socialising with people? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- About our Club Twin Rivers 4x4 Club is based in the Beenleigh/Logan area and was formed by members who were interested in four wheel driving. Our club is non-specific towards vehicle types, age and models - as long as the vehicle can engage 4WD low range gear. Our Club’s aim is to give its members safe and enjoyable outings of all types, for the whole family to enjoy ranging from day trips to weekend camping. Why belong to a 4WD Club? Belonging to a four wheel drive club brings you in touch with others who have similar interests and can allow you access to otherwise closed areas. It’s a great way to learn more about your vehicle and driving techniques. Most of all, it’s all about making friends. Trips and Social Events The Club has a varied trip calendar which includes day trips through State Forests and camping weekends in Four Wheel Drive Parks and other venues. Other trips are also undertaken in conjunction with other Clubs or the Association. There are also social events, which is just an excuse to get together and have fun. Driver Training The Club is fortunate to have its own accredited Driver Training Instructor who conducts comprehensive driver training courses that comply with national standards. Courses provide training for novice to experienced drivers and incorporate all types of driving and recovery techniques, as well as theory and basic vehicle maintenance.
